House Wash Warranty

1-Year Limited Residential Algae-Free Warranty

1. Warranty Term

Elegant Estates provides a One (1) Year Limited Residential Algae-Free Warranty beginning on the original date of application and completion of the house wash service.

This warranty expires exactly twelve (12) months from the service date.

2. Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies exclusively to residential properties and covers:

• The reappearance of visible green algae growth on vertical exterior siding surfaces that were treated during the original service.
• Surfaces cleaned using our professional soft wash process.
• Standard siding materials including vinyl, composite, painted wood, aluminum, fiber cement, and similar materials.

If qualifying algae regrowth occurs within the one-year warranty term, Elegant Estates will return and retreat the affected areas at no additional charge.

Warranty remedy is limited strictly to retreatment of affected areas.

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

• Mold, mildew, moss, lichen, or biological growth not originally treated.
• Organic staining caused by irrigation overspray, fertilizer runoff, mulch dye, or tannin bleeding.
• Oxidation, chalking, fading, or paint failure.
• Rust stains or metallic runoff staining.
• Horizontal surfaces unless specifically included in the original scope of work.
• Areas subject to chronic water exposure, drainage concentration, or sprinkler overspray.
• Structural defects including leaking windows, failed flashing, improper siding installation, or water intrusion.
• Surfaces altered, painted, or treated by others after service.

Cleaning may reveal pre-existing oxidation, pigment instability, or surface inconsistencies that were previously concealed by biological growth. These conditions are not covered under this warranty.

4. Paint & Organic Pigment Disclaimer

Some exterior paints and coatings contain organic pigments or binders that may react to cleaning agents.

Because our detergents are designed to break down organic growth, they may interact with certain paint systems that rely on organic compounds for coloration. In rare cases, this may result in lightening or discoloration.

Elegant Estates is not responsible for changes in color, fading, or pigment instability caused by manufacturer-selected coating materials.

5. Residential Use Limitation

This warranty applies exclusively to residential properties. Commercial, multi-unit, HOA-managed, or industrial properties are excluded unless otherwise specified in writing.

6. Transferability

This warranty is transferable to a new residential property owner during the active warranty term.

Transfer is valid only:

• For the remaining portion of the original warranty period.
• Upon written notice to Elegant Estates of ownership transfer.
• For the original treated property address only.

Warranty term does not reset upon transfer.

7. General Limitation

This warranty applies strictly to biological algae regrowth and is not a structural, material, paint, or manufacturer warranty.

Elegant Estates’ obligation under this warranty is limited solely to retreatment of qualifying areas. No monetary refunds, roof repairs, siding replacement, or consequential damages are included.
